Skyline Medical Center Physicians Named Two of Nashvilles Top DoctorsNASHVILLE-TN-June 17th, 2008 - Skyline Medical Center Rehab Services Medical Director Robert Serro, M.D. and Neurovascular Surgeon Robert Singer, M.D. have been named two of Nashvilles Top Doctors. Serro and Singer join 84 other physicians in 34 specialties chosen among their peers in a survey compiled by Castle Connolly, a nationally known healthcare research company founded to help guide consumers to America's top doctors and top hospitals. Serro, and the other physicians are recognized in an special edition that appears in this months Nashville Lifestyles Magazine. Serro leads the Rehabilitation Center at Skyline Medical Center which is the only certified Primary Stroke Center in Tennessee. Since his arrival two years ago, Serro has seen the rehab program expand from 22 to 31 beds. Skylines patients have access to cutting-edge treatments and technologies such as carotid artery stenting, and the hospital offers both a stroke support group and the states first brain aneurysm support group.
